God has called us to make disciples, not just converts! Our desire is to see people grow in both the knowledge and nature of Jesus.
People are our heart. Our passion is to love people, lead them to Jesus, and discover their purpose.
We exist to make a difference. From local to global, our heart is to see God’s kingdom established on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Our Pastors
Pastor Garry & Kim have served at Evangel Temple since 1976 in youth, missions, and other areas. From 1982-2008, Pastor Garry served alongside his father as Co-Pastor. In 2008, Pastor Garry transitioned to Senior Pastor of Evangel Temple after the retirement of his father, Pastor Cecil Wiggins. Pastor Garry is a pillar within the Jacksonville community in both civic and church leadership engagement. Pastor Garry’s greatest passion is to see revival in America and in our world.
He and Kim were married in 1976 and have three children (all married), Jennifer Hidalgo (Ryan), Justin Wiggins (Katy), and Jordan Wiggins (Marie), and ten grandchildren.
Pastor Jordan and Marie have served at Evangel Temple since 2009 in youth, missions and senior associate pastoral roles. In 2019, Jordan began serving alongside his father, Garry Wiggins, as Co-Pastor of Evangel Temple. Pastor Jordan’s greatest passion is to Go Tell The World About Jesus. He has worked in over 40 nations sharing the Gospel and building the local church.
He and Marie were married in 2013 and have three children; Judah, Hosea & Selah.
